Welcome to the North Woods Ways web site. We hope you will find the information you are seeking here. The site is designed to have the look and “feel” of of printed brochure, as well as containing several side-bars of additional information. There should be enough here to let you know if North Woods Ways is a good match for your tastes and interests for wilderness travel as our guests.

Should you wish to register for a trip the US Postal service is still the only way to send us your reservation forms and depsits. The forms can be downloaded from this site, and a first-come-first- served line-up is maintained by the date of checks received for both trip participation, and waiting list status if a trip is full. You are also welcome to write or call with additional questions. We are frequently gone from five days to two weeks or more with limited office days between trips. In the age of hyper-connectedness, and becoming habituated to instant responses, this can be frustrating. Your patience will be rewarded as all business correspondence has our highest priority during office days between trips.

You are assured you will be traveling with Alexandra and Garrett personally, and on some occasions with an apprentice in addition to them. Rather than traveling with a larger, disengaged, and impersonal group, you will be part of a small interactive and flexible one with attention to your individual interests a priority.
